Best NBA Team Bet #1: Los Angeles Lakers +9.5 (-110)

The Los Angeles Lakers have struggled to begin the season. They sit in 13th place in the Western Conference with a 5-10 record. The Lakers have, however, won their past three contests. Their test on Tuesday night against the Phoenix Suns will be much tougher.

Phoenix is currently tied for second place in the Western Conference with a 10-6 record. The Suns, however, are just 3-3 since future Hall of Fame point guard Chris Paul was sidelined with a heel injury. Although the Lakers will once again be without LeBron James, they should be able to keep this contest competitive as Anthony Davis has looked dominant in his absence. While they may not be able to extend their winning streak to four games by pulling off an upset, don't expect the Lakers to be blown out, either.

If Los Angeles loses to Phoenix, look for it to be by no more than nine points.

Best NBA Team Bet #2: Brooklyn Nets -7.5 (-115)

The Brooklyn Nets have played better basketball following comments from Kevin Durant. They also got star point guard Kyrie Irving back from a team-imposed eight-game suspension. This prediction, however, has less to do with the Nets and more to do with their opponent, the Philadelphia 76ers.

Philadelphia has struggled with injuries all season, and they will enter Tuesday's contest without their top three players, as Joel Embiid, James Harden, and Tyrese Maxey are all sidelined with foot injuries. Look for Brooklyn to take advantage by winning this contest by at least eight points.

Best NBA Team Bet #3: Philadelphia 76ers Under 104.5 Total Points (-115)

The Philadelphia 76ers have struggled to score the ball all season long, ranking just 27th in the NBA in scoring, averaging 108.6 points per game. As mentioned above, the 76ers will be without their top three scoring options, as Joel Embiid, James Harden, and Tyrese Maxey are all ruled out for Tuesday's contest. These three players combine to score 77.2 points per game, while the rest of the roster combines to score just 60.9 points per game.

Tobias Harris is the next highest scorer, averaging just 14.7 points per game, while nobody else on the roster averages double-digit scoring. Look for Philadelphia to struggle to score against the Brooklyn Nets. Expect the 76ers to finish with less than 105 points in this contest.
