Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Chargers Match Details
Fixture: Miami Dolphins @ Los Angeles Chargers
Date & Time: Sunday, December 11, 8:20 p.m. EDT
Venue: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, California
NFL Player Prop #1: Tua Tagovailoa Under 36.5 Passing Attempts (-137)
Tua Tagovailoa has had an excellent season, and he racks up a ton of yards, but the Dolphins' offense records a lot of big plays, so his completions and attempts aren't through the roof. Tagovailoa hasn't tallied 37 attempts since Week 2, and on the year, this is the one game where he's reached 37 out of his ten games played. He should have a solid performance tonight, but expect his attempts to stay under 37, especially now that the Dolphins have an added weapon in running back Jeff Wilson Jr.
NFL Player Prop #2: Gerald Everett Over 3.5 Receptions (-101)
Gerald Everett, the Chargers' tight end, has been reliable for LA all year long, and he's recorded four receptions in each of his last two games. The Chargers have solid receiving threats in Keenan Allen, Joshua Palmer, and Mike Williams, but Everett definitely gets targeted on a consistent basis. Looking at his last six games, he's seen six targets per contest and 4.3 receptions. Expect Everett to reel in four catches tonight, especially since Herbert has thrown the ball 47 times in back-to-back weeks.
NFL Player Prop #3: Tyreek Hill Under 7.5 Receptions (-109)
Tyreek Hill is arguably the best receiver in the AFC, and he's always a handful for opposing defenses. Last week he did reel in nine catches, but in the four games prior, he had been held to seven or fewer each time. Hill sat out practice on Thursday with an illness, and while he's healthy entering the game, he may not be at 100%. Hill can rack up a lot of yards without needing a lot of catches, and fellow wideout Jaylen Waddle sees a ton of targets as well. The Chargers have a mediocre pass defense, but it's likely that they'll key in on Hill. LA has allowed an opposing receiver to get eight receptions just three times out of 12 games this year, so expect them to hold Hill to under eight tonight.
