Despite their 3-6 record, the visiting Lions are on a two-game winning streak, and they'll look to stay hot against the 7-2 Giants. It won't be easy for Detroit, though, as New York is 4-1 at home, with their lone home loss taking place all the way back in September. Below, we'll highlight the best player props for this NFC battle, courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Detroit Lions vs. New York Giants Match Details
Fixture: Detroit Lions @ New York Giants
Date & Time: Sunday, November 20, 1:00 p.m. EDT
Venue: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
NFL Player Prop #1: Jared Goff Under 21.5 Passing Completions (-120)
Jared Goff has had an up-and-down second season in Detroit so far, but overall his numbers are decent. Goff hasn't really attempted a lot of passes over the past two weeks, though, as he's thrown just 26 in each of these games, despite averaging 33.4 on the year. A lot of this has to do with the fact that the Lions haven't been trailing for the majority of the game recently since they were constantly trying to come from behind in a lot of their games. Also, Detroit has two solid running backs in Jamaal Williams and D'Andre Swift, so expect them to feature them heavily once again. Considering that the Giants' defense has allowed opposing teams to just 17 completions on average at MetLife Stadium this year, expect Goff, who has thrown 14 & 19 completions over the past two weeks, to end with under 22 today.
NFL Player Prop #2: Jamaal Williams Over 60.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Jamaal Williams has been very productive this year, and over the last two weeks, he's seen a total of 40 carries. On the year, he's up at 67.1 rushing yards per game, and this afternoon, he'll be matched up with a subpar Giants run defense. The Giants have allowed over 60 rushing yards to an opposing running back in eight of their nine games this season, and it seems that this should be the case again today. Williams does share some carries with D'Andre Swift in the Lions' backfield, but Swift hasn't received more than seven rushing attempts in a game since Week 1. Expect the former Packers running back to have success this afternoon on the road.
