Best Player Props for Sunday - Falcons vs. Saints - December 18 | 2022 NFL Football Season
The New Orleans Saints (4-9) will host the Atlanta Falcons (5-8) on Sunday. Atlanta was on a bye last week but most recently lost to the Steelers in Week 13 by a score of 19-16. Quarterback Marcus Mariota was largely inefficient, potentially leading to his recent demotion in favor of third-round pick Desmond Ridder.
The Cincinnati product will make his first NFL start on Sunday against New Orleans. The running back duo of Cordarrelle Patterson and Tyler Allgeier combined for 112 rushing yards on 21 attempts. Top 10 pick Drake London had his best game as a pro, going for 95 yards on six receptions.
The Saints were also on a bye last week after suffering a heartbreaking 17-16 loss to the Bucs. New Orleans allowed Tampa Bay to score the final 14 points of the game, including a Tom Brady to Rachaad White touchdown pass with eight seconds remaining. Quarterback Andy Dalton played well in defeat, finishing 20-of-28 for 229 yards and a pick. However, running back Alvin Kamara was bottled up, finishing with 37 yards on 14 touches.
Below, we'll highlight the best player props for this mid-Sunday showdown between the Falcons and the Saints.

NFL Player Prop #1: Atlanta Falcons WR Drake London Over 43.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Drake London is fresh off his best game of the season, yet a change at quarterback may set him back. However, Ridder is from the same draft class and is more of a traditional passer than his predecessor, Marcus Mariota.
London should have developed chemistry with Ridder in rookie camp, and throughout the preseason, so he should have no issues being on the same page as the rookie signal caller. Ridder should look for London early and often against their divisional rivals.
NFL Player Prop #2: New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave Over 60.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Unlike the Falcons' rookie WR, Olave has impressed early and often this season. The Ohio State product averages 73.9 yards per game and will face the 29th-ranked passing defense in the NFL. As a result, Olave should have a field day against one of the more suspect secondaries in the NFL.
NFL Player Prop #3: New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara Under 59.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Alvin Kamara is averaging the lowest yards per game (50.0) of his six-year career. He is under four yards per carry for the second straight season and has failed to eclipse 60 rushing yards in six of his last seven games.
The Falcons are 30th in the NFL in yards allowed but are 14th in yards per attempt. As a result, the five-time pro bowler may need help finding open running lanes in a matchup that has usually garnered solid results.
