Brooklyn Nets vs. Sacramento Kings Prediction: Injury Report, Starting 5s, Betting Odds & Spreads - November 15 | 2022-23 NBA Season
The Brooklyn Nets take on the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday (November 15) at the Golden 1 Center in NBA Regular Season action.
The Kings started the season 6-6 as they sit in ninth place in the Western Conference standings, while the struggling Nets have gone 6-8 as they are placed 12th in the East.
The Nets have had an inconsistent run lately, winning against strong opposition such as the Clippers and the Wizards but losing out against fellow strugglers like the Lakers. They are coming into this game on the back of a 116-103 loss against the Lakers, thanks to a season-high 37-point performance by Anthony Davies. Brooklyn’s own, Kevin Durant has had a brilliant season as well, averaging 30.6 a night with five assists per game, leading the side in both metrics.
The Nets were awful from deep against the Lakers, only making 25% of their attempted three-pointers. Their season average from beyond the arc this season has been 36% which ranks them at 15th in the NBA. They have been one of the most terrible rebounding teams in the NBA this season with a net rebounding rank of 29th.
The Kings are one of KD’s favorite opponents to face. He has a 30-9 career record against them while averaging 27.5 points per game over that period. In his last four appearances against them, he is averaging a whopping 33 points a night.
The Kings come into this game in full flight, having won three in a row. In their last game, they defeated the reigning champs Warriors, thanks to a 26-piece by Domantas Sabonis. They are one of the most efficient offenses in the NBA this term. They have the second-best FGM% in the NBA with 48.4% and the seventh-best 3PM% with 37.1%.
Historically, the Kings have gotten the better of the Nets more often than not. The Sacramento side have a 50-45 lead over the 95 games these two sides have played against each other.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Sacramento Kings Injury Report
The Nets are in a heap of trouble. They have three of their regular starting five either injured or, in Kyrie Irving’s case, suspended. A glaringly obvious miss is Irving, who is still serving his indefinite suspension and won’t be available for this game either.
Nic Claxton, who has been a revelation this season, is also deemed questionable alongside Ben Simmons. While Claxton is out with a day-to-day level eye, Simmons has a knee problem. This leaves a lot of gaping holes in the Nets squad that the Kings could exploit.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Sacramento Kings Betting Prediction
The Kings are much the favored side in this one. The Nets have several players out with injuries and their starting five on paper is not competent at all. The Kings are on a very good run, picking up some big scalps along the way. If the Nets do mount a push, it will be courtesy of KD, but the majority of the Kings’ five are playing brilliantly to nullify Durant’s output.
