Giants vs Commanders Prediction: Who Will Win? Preview, Odds, Line, Spread, and Picks - SNF - Which NFC East team prevails tonight?
The Washington Commanders will take on the New York Giants on Sunday in an all-NFC East affair. Both teams are 7-5-1, as they tied just a couple of weeks ago at MetLife Stadium. The Giants have lost three of their last four, with the other game being the tie versus the Commanders, so they will be desperately looking to get back to their winning ways tonight. Washington had won their previous three games prior to their meeting with New York, so they'll try and stay hot at home.

New York Giants vs. Washington Commanders Key Stats
The Giants' offense has been pretty solid this year, led by fourth-year quarterback Daniel Jones. Jones is on pace for his best year since entering the league, and one area where he's really improved this year is his decision-making. He's thrown just four interceptions compared to the 11 per year he was averaging prior to the season. While he only has 12 TD passes, he's been pretty efficient, and he's totaled a career-high 548 rushing yards and five rushing TDs, displaying his versatility. Running back and former #2 overall pick Saquon Barkley has been healthy this year, which has been a welcome sight for Giants fans. While he averages a modest 4.3 yards per carry, his total volume is excellent, currently ranking fourth in the NFL in rushing attempts (251) and rushing yards (1,083). Giants receivers haven't really stood out besides Darius Slayton, but Barkley is also effective as a pass-catcher. Look for Jones and Barkley to again see a lot of touches tonight at FedExField.
Commanders QB Taylor Heinicke had arguably the best game of his season versus the Giants previously, and this week he'll look to replicate that performance. Since taking over as the starter in Washington, Heinicke has a 5-1-1 record. The defense has looked a lot better as well for the hosts, and overall they'll look to keep firing on all cylinders. Heinicke has solid weapons to throw to in Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel, and running back Brian Robinson Jr. has been excellent recently. The Giants' defense hasn't been great this year, previously allowing 48 to the Eagles, so we'll see if they can have a better game plan this time around.
New York Giants vs. Washington Commanders Betting Prediction
These teams played to a 20-20 tie two weeks ago, and tonight figures to be a tight contest as well. There really isn't much to separate the two, but Washington has been better lately, and they're at home. The Giants should cover here, though, as they'll be fighting for playoff contention, and since they've gone 9-4 ATS this year, it shows that they typically overperform. Also, New York has won four of their last four following an ATS loss, so back the visitors on Sunday Night Football.
Prediction: Giants +4.5 (-110)
