Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans Prediction, Odds, Line, Spread, and Picks: Battle of the Running Backs - October 23 | 2022 NFL Football Season
The Tennessee Titans will take on the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in Nashville. These AFC South foes have been playing well recently and will be playing their final head-to-head matchup of the year. The Titans are 3-2, and they're coming off a bye week. After two losses to open the season, Tennessee has won three straight games decided by a touchdown or less. The Colts are 3-2-1, but they've come out on top in three of their previous four. Earlier this year, the Titans defeated the Colts 24-17, extending their win streak over Indy to four. We'll see if the visitors can snap this streak on Sunday in what should be an entertaining affair.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans Key Stats
Tennessee's defense has held opponents to just 3.4 fourth-quarter points, which has been a big reason why they're over .500 instead. The Titans' run defense has allowed just 81 yards on the ground over their last two games, but the plan is that the Colts will have leading rusher, Jonathan Taylor, back.
The last game Taylor played came in Week 4 versus the Titans, but he struggled mightily. He rushed for just 42 yards on 20 carries, but now that poor performance could be attributed to injury. Still, the Colts have won two games without Taylor, and a lot of that has to do with Matt Ryan and Michael Pittman Jr.'s stellar play, for the most part. Last week, the Colts' veteran QB tossed 389 yards and three TDs in the win over the Jaguars, while Pittman Jr. amassed 134 receiving yards, and if the Colts can succeed in the pass game, they'll be able to keep Tennesee's defense on its heels. The Titans have stopped the run, but the amount of passing yards they've let up is concerning. They currently give up the most passing yards per game, but this hasn't cost them over their previous three games.
The Titans' offense revolves around Derrick Henry, who leads the NFL in carries per game. Despite his volume, Henry averages just 3.9 yards per carry, a significantly lower figure than his career average of 4.8. Ryan Tannehill is having a decent year, but he won't rack up huge numbers, as his attempts are usually pretty low for a quarterback.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans Betting Prediction
The Titans have had the Colts' number in recent years, but usually, when these two match up, the road team hangs tight. The best bet here is to target the under, especially because the Colts have had the total go under in six consecutive road contests. Also, Indy has gotten off to a lot of slow starts, and that could be the case again since Jonathan Taylor and the offense might be out of rhythm in the early going.
Prediction: Under 42 (-107)
