Los Angeles Clippers vs Oklahoma City Thunder Prediction, Odds, Line, Spread, and Picks - October 25 | 2022 NBA Season

The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Los Angeles Clippers for a matchup on October 25. The Thunder (0-3) are off to a rough start and will hope to stop the bleeding on their home court. The Clippers (2-1) suffered a loss against a strong Pheonix team and will look to take advantage of a young roster tonight to get things back on track.

The Clippers have one of the newer, and possibly more exciting, rosters this season that still needs to be smoothed out and operated as fully healthy before they live up to the pre-season hype.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Oklahoma Thunder Key Stats

If the Clippers had their current big 3 (Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, John Wall) in each of their primes, they would be one of the top favorites to win the Western Conference in every sportsbook out there.

The sad truth for Clippers fans is that this just isn't the case for their roster. Paul George is the only one of the three that is consistently in the starting lineup. Wall comes off the bench, and we may have to wait until the final push to lock up a playoff spot before we see what Kawhi really is like this season. Let's wait until we have a little more data before we lock them into the Western Conference Finals.

With tonight's game coming off a day of rest, we would think the full roster would be ready to go for an easy win against the Thunder, but Paul George and Marcus Morris were both added to the injury report yesterday. Conviently enough, these two are the top scorers for the Clippers in the first three games.

We know that nothing influences Kawhi's decision to play but himself, so plan on him still only playing 20-25 minutes. The Clippers will rely on Reggie Jackson and other smaller pieces of the roster to get it done tonight. The Clippers have incredible depth and that will be the theme of the night.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have done an impressive job of running a fire sale for draft capital and future rebuilding tools. With that being said, Thunder fans and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will have to come out of the tanking phase eventually. Unfortunately, that won't be tonight or anytime soon. SGA has been on the injury report every night since the start of the season, and since their last game, he's been joined by Jalen Williams and Josh Giddey.

For a team that isn't super deep in scoring options and talent, this is a problem for the Thunder. Dort has been the leading scorer but Giddey leads in assists and rebounds. Dort will have to play the best game of his career tonight to keep the Thunder in the game.

Los Angeles Clippers vs Okahoma City Thunder Betting Prediction

The Clippers got the job done without Paul George, mostly thanks to a run-down and injured Thunder lineup. The Thunder won't have the ability to score enough and fall way behind tonight. The Clippers will rely on the deep bench to carry the workload tonight, but will be able to bury the Thunder again if they start to catch up. The Clippers made a commanding cover of the spread tonight. The over/under line already has injuries priced in, which is a stay-away.
