Miami Heat vs. Indiana Pacers Prediction: Injury Report, Starting 5s, Betting Odds & Spreads - December 12 | 2022-23 NBA Season
The Miami Heat (12-15) are coming into tonight's game off the back of a close 115-111 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Their opponents tonight, the Indiana Pacers (14-13), are also coming off of a very close loss. The Indiana outfit fell 136-133 against the Brooklyn Nets.
It's been a hit-and-miss season thus far for both of these teams. Their previous game this season saw the Pacers come out on top in a razor-thin 101-99 contest. Following their disappointing home-game loss to the Spurs, tonight's game marks the first of a four-game road trip for the ailing Heat.

Heat vs. Pacers Prediction
The Heat have caught the injury bug of late. They're 2-4 in their last six games and have fallen considerably from their three-game winning streak late last month. Bar a surprise upset win over the Boston Celtics earlier this month, the Heat have not been at their best of late. The wave of injuries going on at the moment is only going to further hinder their chances.
The Pacers, meanwhile, have been strong at home this season and have generally been better on offense this season than their opponents tonight. They've already got one win over the Heat tonight. The game was close but, considering their better, more consistent performances of late compared to the Miami outfit, the Pacers should be able to pull off a similar result tonight.
Prediction: Pacers +2.5 (-105)
