New England Patriots vs Cleveland Browns Prediction, Odds, Line and Picks for NFL Week 6 Matchup
The New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns will square off in Cleveland on Sunday, pitting two 2-3 AFC teams against one another.
New England enters this game off of a 29-0 home shutout victory over the Lions, their most convincing victory of the season. However, Cleveland come into this game following a heartbreaking 30-28 loss to the Chargers in which a game-winning field goal attempt was missed. The first kickoff is scheduled for 1:00 EST.

Last Sunday, the Patriots thrashed the Lions 29-0, continuing their dominance over quarterback Jared Goff, who was wearing a Lions jersey at the time. By giving rookie quarterback Bailey Zappe a relentless ground game and a stifling defense, the Patriots were able to win in his first NFL start.
Rhamondre Stevens, who had a career-high 161 rushing yards for the Patriots, spearheaded a ground effort that gained 176 yards for the team. Damien Harris, the starting running back, was injured in the first quarter and left the game with only 11 yards. Zappe completed 17 of his 21 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown to cap off his first start.
The Cleveland Browns could have entered this game at 3-2 but for a wide right-field goal. After the Browns turned the Chargers over on downs at the Chargers' 46-yard line with 1:14 left in the game, rookie kicker Cade York missed a 54-yard field goal with seconds left to prevent an unlikely victory. Unfortunately, the Browns were unable to capitalize and lost 30-28, dropping their record to 2-3 for the year.
Jacoby Brissett, the quarterback, completed 21 of 34 passes for 230 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. He was competent, but not outstanding. For an additional 32 yards, Brissett ran the ball three times. On that final drive, he struggled to bring them close enough for an easy kick, starting at the Chargers' 46.

Patriots vs Browns Best Picks and Prediction
Bill Belichick will take his New England Patriots team to Ohio on Sunday to play his old team, the Cleveland Browns. There is a good reason why the Browns are the 2.5-point favorites.
Even though Amari Cooper is the team's best wide receiver and Kareem Hunt is on the roster, the Browns have made Nick Chubb the center of attention, so it's obvious that Chubb is the man. His Sunday rushing total is 89.5 yards. He has only ever gone under that total, managing just 87 against the Jets in Week 2.
He has to be supported to continue having 100+ rushing yards, which he has done in 80% of his games this year.
Pick: Nick Chubb over 93.5 rushing yards (-115)
The Patriots are rated ninth in defensive DVOA, so if they're going to win this game, their defense will have to play well. They'll also need to do better against the run, as they're currently ranked 28th in DVOA.
We would lean towards betting on the Browns to win this game and cover the spread as the Patriots enter this game with questions around their starting quarterback and because they appear to be very confident in their capabilities.
Prediction: Browns -2.5 (-110)
