QB Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills +125

Josh Allen and the Bills still sit top of the NFL Super Bowl odds and MVP odds tables. Coming off a bye week, Josh Allen is going to be hungry to continue proving why he sits top of that list and deserves to be the 2023 MVP.

The Bills are 5-1 and will host a struggling Green Bay team this week. Allen's projections off the bye will be high, and you can expect him to deliver. The odds can't afford to go much lower than where they are now, but expect them to stay in this area.

QB Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs (+400)

Mahomes has been chasing Josh Allen all season long and can't seem to get there. Interestingly enough, where he has caught up and exceeded Josh Allen, is in passing yards and touchdowns (he does have an extra game on Allen given the bye week).

Mahomes leads the NFL with almost 2,200 yards and 20 touchdowns. The Chiefs are 5-2 this season and are headed for a bye week themselves in week 8. If Allen comes back and has a dominant week like he's expected to, Mahomes could settle in as the runner-up for another week or two.

QB Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles (+450)

Jalen Hurts is leading the only undefeated team left in the NFL (6-0). The undefeated factor is what looks to be keeping Hurts in the race for the most part, but that's not to short the significance of his massive jump this season.

So far this season, Hurts has thrown for over 1,500 yards, six touchdowns and only two interceptions. Hurts and the Eagles haven't had to play from behind very much in the first part of the season. So if teams can start to figure out how to stay in front, he could show MVP style of play. Until then, he has two tough competitors in front of him.
