Orlando Magic vs. Chicago Bulls Prediction: Injury Report, Starting 5s, Betting Odds & Spreads - November 18 | 2022-23 NBA Season

The Orlando Magic take on the Chicago Bulls on Friday, November 18th, at the United Center in NBA Regular Season action. The betting odds and predictions are listed down below:

The 4-11 Magic come into this game on the back of two consecutive losses as they sit in 13th place in the East, just above tonight’s opponents, the Bulls. The Bulls have gone 6-9 thus far, sitting in 12th place, having lost four of their last five games. Both teams have been disappointing this campaign, with the Bulls more so, considering the inexperience on the Magic roster and the big names present on the Bulls’ side.

The Bulls have struggled on the offensive side, ranking 27th in the NBA for 3PM per game with only 10.4 and ranking 28th in 3PA per game with 29. Their problems are evident near the rim as well, conceding the third-most blocks (6.7) per game in the entire NBA.

After a career-high 28 PPG season last campaign, DeMar DeRozan started the campaign brilliantly as well. He is currently averaging 24.1 points per game as well as a team-high 4.4 assists per game. The Bulls side have struggled with a lot of key injuries, hence putting most of the offensive burden on the experienced DeRozan's shoulders.

The Magic have been pretty poor this season. They have gone 4-11 thus far, placing only above the Pistons and the Hornets. They have been abysmal on both ends of the court, ranking 24th in offense and 23rd in defense. They are currently net-ranked in the bottom five of the entire NBA.

Facing as much defensive pressure as they do, their numbers would naturally get inflated, but their rebounding numbers have been quite impressive. They are statistically the best rebounding side in the NBA, net-ranked number one across defensive rebounds and total rebounds. Wendell Carter Jr. has been a key component of that department, leading the side with nine boards per game.

The Magic are in a world of hurt, having their star prospects, Cole Anthony and Paolo Banchero, on the sidelines. They could possibly see Wendell Carter miss out on a touch-and-go injury. The Bulls do have key guards Coby White and Lonzo Ball missing out. Forward Pat Williams is a doubt.

Magic vs. Bulls Betting Prediction

The Chicago Bulls should cruise to a win in this one. The Magic are in abysmal form and haven't shown any discernible positives this season. With their main-man Paolo Banchero still out with an injury, they are struggling for results. The Bulls, on the other hand, have a much stronger and healthier side. They haven't been in the greatest of form, but should be comfortable winners in this one.

Bulls: -8.5 (-110)
