Rams vs Packers Prediction: Who Will Win? MNF Preview, Odds, Line, Spread, and Picks - Can Baker Mayfield lead the Rams to another victory?

The Green Bay Packers will play the Los Angeles Rams at home on Monday Night Football. Both of these NFC teams have had very disappointing seasons, and at the moment, the 5-8 Packers have a very slim chance of making the playoffs, while the 4-9 Rams are basically eliminated. The Packers have dominated the Rams in recent history, and tonight Green Bay has a great chance to continue that trend with the Rams dealing with injuries to several key players.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Green Bay Packers Key Stats

QB Baker Mayfield, in his Rams' debut, helped his team pull off an improbable comeback over the Raiders last time out, and it seems like Mayfield will get to start these last few weeks to end the year. With starter Matthew Stafford out for the season and backup John Wolford also out, at least for this week, look for Mayfield to try and take full advantage of this opportunity. As for LA's run game, it's been difficult for them to get much going all year. Cam Akers has been pretty inconsistent in the backfield, but considering the Packers have one of the worst run defenses around, Akers could be able to make a bigger impact tonight. Looking at the Rams' receiving corps, with star receiver Cooper Kupp sidelined, Van Jefferson, Ben Skowronek, and Tyler Higbee should have increased roles.

On the Packers' side, QB and four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers has had a rough year by his standards, but he is matched up with a weak Rams pass defense tonight. Rodgers lacks the weapons he's had in past years, and while Alan Lazard and Christian Watson are decent, losing Davante Adams, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling has had an obvious effect on the offense. Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon are solid options in the backfield, but ultimately the Packers' struggles this year have been with their defense. We'll see if these teams can build off their wins from last week tonight at Lambeau.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Green Bay Packers Betting Prediction

Neither team has been good against the spread this season, but the Rams, who were overrated by oddsmakers early on, might actually be underrated now. Mayfield and the Rams' offense showed resilience against the Raiders with their late comeback, and tonight they'll head to enemy territory as sizeable underdogs. The Rams have covered their last two contests, so look for them to fight hard enough to cover again versus the Packers tonight.

Prediction: Rams +7.5 (-110)
