Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Georgia Bulldogs Key Stats
Vanderbilt has freshman quarterback AJ Swann under center, who finished with a strong statline despite the blowout loss. He threw for 281 yards and two passing TDs, but it'll be extremely tough today against what many consider the best defense in the nation. The Bulldogs allow just 10.7 points, per game and they rank eighth in total yards against. There are really no weaknesses for Georgia on this side of the ball. A testament to their dominance is the fact that the defense has spent about 22 total minutes on the field on average per home game.
Commodores' running back Ray Davis is enjoying a solid senior campaign, averaging up at 4.7 yards per carry, but against this Georgia run defense, his numbers may take a hit.
Georgia's offense is led by star Stetson Bennett, who ranks second in the SEC with 1,744 passing yards. He's only thrown for five TDs, but he has scored five rushing TDs to make up for this. The Bulldogs, as a team, have 21 rushing touchdowns, which is tied for the most in the nation, so Bennett hasn't really needed to throw for a ton of TDs.
Georgia has three very solid running backs who have pretty much split the bulk of the carries. As a team, the Bulldogs average 5.7 yards per carry and Vanderbilt has had defensive struggles this year, so they could definitely increase their average today. The Commodores also have the second-worst passing defense out of all 131 FBS schools and they give up 36.8 points per game. This could be a game where Georgia stat-pads and gets their reserves in for the majority of the second half, given the talent disparity.

Vanderbilt Commodores vs. Georgia Bulldogs Betting Prediction
Georgia has won and covered each of the last four meetings, and they returned to their dominant ways last week after a couple of subpar performances. At 6-0, they haven't been tested much, and they should be able to jump out to a sizeable halftime lead this afternoon.
