The Miami Heat will be playing the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. The Heat enter this contest at 7-11, and they're currently on a four-game skid. The Wizards, meanwhile, topped the Hornets 106-102 at home on Sunday and will look to make it three straight victories tonight on the road. Washington has covered six of the past eight meetings here in Miami, so we'll see if that trend can continue.

Washington Wizards vs. Miami Heat Betting Prediction

The Heat are going through a really rough stretch at the moment, but considering they finished as the #1 seed last season in the East with basically the same exact roster, their results should even out. At the moment, All-Star Bam Adebayo will have a much heavier workload than normal with the team's leading scoring, Butler out, as well as Max Strus (15.3 PPG) and Gabe Vincent (10.2). Adebayo is averaging 19.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists, and even he hasn't been confirmed to play yet. Adebayo mans the middle and isn't really a shot creator, but with all of these injuries, veteran point guard Kyle Lowry has had to step up.

On Washington's side, whether or not Beal plays will be significant. Still, in his absence, the team has gone 4-1 this year, as Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma have no issues when they get more touches. Tonight, expect the Wizards to cover as they've had a lot of success over the last few years ATS in Miami.

Prediction: Wizards +1.5 (-110)
