Indonesian businessman denies being in Italy for talks about stake in Inter Milan
According to Football – Italia, Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir has dismissed the reports of having arrived in Milan with his family for talks of controlling a share in the Nerazzurri.
Earlier reports had claimed that Inter chief and owner, Massimo Moratti had also admitted that he is in negotiations with Thohir, but had refused to go upon in the details of the move.
“To close a deal we need to agree on everything,” the oil baron stated earlier this month. “There’s talk of continuing after mid-August.
“There are some things which are definitely still pending.
“I believe we’ll proceed by continuing to exchange information. The lawyers know more about it than I do, so I wouldn’t know what to tell you.
“Right now everything is tied to something else, so it all still has to be evaluated and examined. Then in the end we have to come to a general agreement.”
