Asian Para Games 2023 Medal Table: Updated standings after day 2

India is currently placed 5th in the Asian Para Games 2023 medal tally with 34 medals. They have won 9 gold, 12 silver, and 13 bronze medals thus far in the quadrennial event.

Team India, who have sent their largest-ever contingent at the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Para Games, is giving their best possible shot at the event. Their contingent includes 303 athletes (191 male & 112 female) and will aim to better their previous record of 72 medals.

Their previous best was set during the previous edition of the Asian Para Games in Jakarta.

As expected, China leads the medal tally with 165 medals (67 gold, 53 silver, and 45 bronze). They are followed by Iran and Japan who have 47 & 45 medals respectively.

Iran's 47 medals include 16 gold, 19 silver, and 12 bronze medals. Meanwhile, Japan has won 12 gold, 13 silver, and 20 bronze medals so far in this edition of the Asian Para Games.

Uzbekistan sits in 4th place with 38 medals at the Asian Para Games 2023. India in fifth is followed by Thailand, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong who are placed 6th - 10th respectively in the Asian Para Games 2023 medal tally.
