1. Chelsea end United’s double dream:

2. Fulham hold on to leave QPR in trouble:

Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna to renew partnership:

Following an advantageous partnership in 2012 that saw them finish as finalists at the ATP World Tour Finals, Rohan Bopanna and Mahesh Bhupathi announced a renewal of their partnership.

India wins two medals at South Asian Triathlon Championship:

India won two medals including a gold at the South Asian Triathlon Championship here Monday. Pooja Chaurishi claimed the gold in the sprint event which included swimming, cycling and running. In the men’s section, Madhurjya Bora finished second for a silver.

Somdev geared up for Davis Cup tie:

The refurbished KSLTA courts here received the thumbs up from Somdev Devvarman who will be leading Indian challenge against Indonesia in the Asia-Oceania Davis Cup tie here this weekend.

Mike Conley delivers a game-tying 3-pointer with 30.7 seconds remaining:


Mike Conley delivered a game-tying 3-pointer with 30.7 seconds remaining in Monday night’s game against San Antonio. He then drove to the basket after a Tony Parker miss for the game-winning layup, to give the Grizzlies a 92-90 win. Conley led the Grizzlies with 23 points, while Parker paced San Antonio, who was without Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili, with 25.

Stenson, Jacobson, Sterne, Points join Masters field:

Stenson and Fredrik Jacobson and South Africa’s Richard Sterne received official invitations to next week’s Masters golf tournament on Monday.

The players qualified for the year’s first major championship at Augusta National Golf Club by being among the top 50 in this week’s world rankings.

Puerto doping trial reaches climax:

The Operation Puerto doping trial involving Doctor Eufemiano Fuentes and four co-accused is set to conclude on Tuesday with the judge ruling on whether the five were guilty of endangering public health.

The latter three are accused of facilitating Fuentes’ involvement with riders in their teams, whilst it is claimed that Eufemiano and Yolanda Fuentes (his sister) performed blood transfusions and stored and transported blood bags in a manner that represented a health risk to those undergoing the treatment.
