1. India complete 4-0 clean sweep of Australia

India beat Australia by 6 wickets to complete a 4-0 clean sweep of the Border-Gavaskar trophy on Sunday, with Mahendra Singh Dhoni hitting the winning runs.

2. Pune FC make history; retain U-20 I-League title

Pune FC made history by defending the Under-20 I-League title in Jamshedpur. The title gave Pune FC the distinction of being the first team to win back-to-back titles. Needing a win to emerge outright winners, Pune FC settled the issue with a dominating 3-0 victory over East Bengal FC at the JRD Sports Complex, Jamshedpur, on Sunday.

3. Mourinho hints at returning to former club

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that in the next football season he could return to coach Inter Milan or Chelsea. Mourinho is under pressure in Spain although his side have reached the Champions League quarterfinals as his team continues to trail behind Barcelona in La Liga.

4. Sprint king Bolt beaten over 400m

Jamaican sprint star Usain Bolt, testing himself again over 400 meters, clocked 46.44secs in a runner-up finish to Nicholas Maithland at the University of West Indies Invitational. It was the third 400m of the young season for Bolt, better known as the back-to-back Olympic champion in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m.

5. New Zealand swing into action and regain control

England’s Nick Compton is dismissed for 13 runs by New Zealand’s Tim Southee during day three of their international cricket Test match at Eden Park in Auckland on March 24, 2013. New Zealand regained control of the deciding final Test against England, claiming three wickets with menacing swing bowling.

7. De Villiers takes South Africa to series win

8. Chris Paul helps Clippers go past Nets

Chris Paul’s 29 points and 11 assists helped the Clippers to beat the Brooklyn Nets 101-95 in a NBA game Saturday night. Paul made 12 of 13 free throws and scored 17 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter after banging his left knee early in the game played at the Staples Center.

9. Miami Heat beat Charlotte Bobcats 77-109

10. Arnold Palmer Invitational: Tiger leaps into the lead

Tiger Woods plays a shot on the 7th hole during the third round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. After lurking in the shadows for what seemed an interminable two days, Tiger Woods leapt with the ferocity of a hungry feline to take his appointed place at the head of the pack.

11. Vettel snatches controversial win from Webber

Vettel incensed team-mate Webber on Sunday as he pulled off a risky overtaking move to snatch victory in a pulsating but contentious Grand Prix.
