Asian Doubles Squash Championships 2024: Abhay Singh and Joshna Chinappa in mixed doubles semis

Talented Abhay Singh has roared into the limelight of the Asian Doubles Squash Championships in Johor, Malaysia. He made it to the semifinals in two categories and made India proud on the international stage.

The Asian Games medalist, Abhay on Friday, July 5, secured a place in the mixed doubles semifinals with the experienced Joshna Chinappa. The pair coordinated very well to defeat the Malaysian duo of Syafiq Kamal and Aira Azman in straight sets, 11-9, 11-6. This win has put them through to the last four of this championship.

The mixed doubles event has been a good one for Abhay Singh. A 7-11, 6-11 loss to Ong Sai Hung and Rachel Arnold in the group stage hardly dented the spirits or plans of Abhay and Joshna.
