Moving into the details, India's Goushika M continued her domination in the quarter-final, defeating Makaela Lin Cassidy of Hong Kong by 11-8, 11-9, and 11-8 to advance to the semi-final. She will next take on Malaysia's Maisarah Binti Nizam.
In another match, Aadya Budhia defeated local player Mahnoor Ali by 11-4, 11-8, 6-11, 11-6 to storm into the semi-final. She will next lock horns with Chiu Hau Ching from Hong Kong in the semi-final.
Shifting our focus to other details, Shiven Agarwal stunned local lad Abdul Ahad Butt by 11-4, 11-7 and 11-5 to make it to the semi-final. He will next take on Nouman Khan from Pakistan in the semis.
In the last game of the day, Shameena Riaz bagged a win over Ranliya Irundinithi Wood of Sri Lanka by 11-2, 11-4, 11-4 to advance to the consolation quarter-final against Minahil Aqeel from Pakistan.
