How did Indian boys and girls reach the World Junior Squash Championships final round?

India's journey in the WSF World Junior Squash Championships in Houston came to an end, following ups and downs throughout the tournament.

On the last day at the Junior Squash Championships 2024, Indian boys continued their winning streak as they defeated South Africa 2-0 in the 5-8 position matches. Shaurya beat Connor Earl 3-1 (12-10, 7-11, 11-6, 11-7), and Ayaan defeated Julian Phillips 3-0 (11-4, 11-4, 11-8).

However, the girls’ team lost to England. Shameena could not defeat Amelie Haworth and lost 0-3 (8-11, 4-11, 10-12). To add to India's woes that day, Unnati was defeated by Emily Coulcher-Porter 0-3 (8-11, 12-14, 4-11).

The Indian boys' team will now play England in the fifth and sixth spot match. Whereas, despite the sub-standard outing versus England, the girls will face Hong Kong in the seventh-place match.
