India table tennis schedule for Paris 2024 Olympics: Complete player list, dates, timing, telecast
The Paris Olympics 2024 is nearly a month away and the Indian table tennis contingent is gearing up for a tough fight at the showpiece event. Powered by the likes of Manika Batra and Sharath Kamal, the six-member contingent will be taking the pitch come July 27.
Kamal, who has won a record 10 national championships apart from seven Commonwealth Games gold medals, was recently chosen as the flag-bearer for the Indian contingent ahead of former gold-medalist Neeraj Chopra. Kamal, who'll be partaking in what will be his fifth and perhaps the final appearance at the Summer Games, was himself shocked at such a development.
Batra, another senior table tennis stalwart will also be marking her third Olympics appearance and will inspire her team to vye for the first table tennis medal at the Games.
