In an Instagram picture shared by Bachchan, the actor can be seen all smiles, holding the national flag in front of the iconic venue.
“Represent!! #JaiHind #comeonIndia,” the caption read.

Abhishek Bachchan was likely in attendance as India’s star athlete Neeraj Chopra won a silver medal in the men’s javelin throw event in the Paris 2024 Olympics. The javelin thrower from Haryana had a season’s best throw of 89.45m in Round 2, which propelled him to the second position in the final table.
However, Neeraj could not overtake the Olympic record-breaking throw of 92.97m by Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem, which meant that Tokyo 2020 gold medalist Neeraj had to settle for just a silver in this year’s Summer Olympic Games.
However, Neeraj will be proud of himself as his latest podium finish made him the first Indian athlete to win both gold and silver medals in the Olympic Games.
The silver medal won by Chopra on Thursday was India’s first in the Paris 2024 Olympics, with the other four medals won by the Indian contingent being all bronze medals. With Neeraj failing to clinch gold in his event, it seems like the 117-member strong Indian contingent will end the Paris 2024 Games without any gold medals.
