[In Pictures] IOA shares glimpses of Indian athletes at Paris Olympics 2024 village
As the Paris Olympics 2024 nears its starting date, several contingents of Indian athletes have started arriving at the French capital to take part in the sporting events. From the day of the opening ceremony on July 26 to August 11, the 117 athletes representing India in Paris will stay in the magnificent Olympic Village built in the heart of the capital city.
In an Instagram post, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) shared a few glimpses of the Olympic Village in Paris, where the Indian athletes will stay for the duration of the events.

What can be seen in the Paris Olympics 2024 village photos?
In the images, the iconic Olympic rings can be seen, as well as a wall welcoming the incoming athletes in several languages from around the world.
The Athlete365 compound, which is an initiative by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to provide support to the Olympic athletes and entourage staff members, can also be seen in the images.
The IOA also provided glimpses of Indian athletes posing before the Olympic rings and a poster of shuttler PV Sindhu at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, where she won a bronze medal. The part of the Olympic Village where the Indian contingent will stay can be seen with the tricolor flag draped from the balconies.
Several of India's contingents, such as archery, swimming, and table tennis, have already arrived at the French capital city to begin their final preparations ahead of the opening ceremony.
The Indian athletes will be supported by a strong supporting staff comprising 140 members, taking the total strength of the Indian contingent to 257. Former Olympian Gagan Narang, who previously welcomed the swimming and table tennis contingents in France on Sunday, is leading the athletes as India’s Chef-de-Mission at the Paris Olympics 2024.
