ISSF house to host athletes and media in Paris Olympics 2024
The International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) is all set to host athletes and media at its house at Chateauroux during the upcoming Olympics to be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11. The ISSF House will be in charge of around 3000 guests starting from the opening ceremony until the last day of the quadrennial event.
The ISSF House will be available for socializing, networking, and rubbing shoulders with some of the most influential people in the shooting world. The ISSF House will offer enough exposure to brands, gala dinners, and drinks receptions. The media and ISSF will show the glitz and glamor of the event through the media.
The ISSF House will also be open for business opportunities to select sponsors. The ISSF has been working hard to make sure of the development of shooting by making the partnership opportunity count.
The ISSF made public the details of its house project during the 50th IWA Outdoor Classic International Trade Fair for Hunting and Sport Shooting that took place in Nuremberg. The idea of the ISSF House made progress after Luciano Rossi took over as its president.
India set with a power-packed contingent for the Olympics
While heavyweights like China and the United States of America (USA) lead the medals tally, the focus will also be on the Indian contingent. The focus will be on Neeraj Chopra, who not only won the gold medal in Tokyo but brought Indian medals from the World Championships and Asian Games.
PV Sindhu, the only Indian woman to win back-to-back Olympic medals, will now look for a hat-trick. India’s table tennis team, led by Manika Batra and the legendary Sharath Kamal, is a strong one as well.
The Indian women’s hockey team failed to qualify, but expectations from the men’s team will be there after they won the bronze medal in Tokyo.
