Kangana Ranaut critical of "Last Supper" act at Paris Olympics opening ceremony

The Paris Olympics 2024 unfolded a new chapter but criticism is chasing it from the opening ceremony itself. Netizens had been critical of how the entire opening ceremony was conducted, starting from the size of boats to the dress code of Indian team to even their hectic wait for Celine Dion's performance. However, one issue that has shook the internet is the performance which was related to the Last Supper, an event deeply related to Christianity and Jesus Christ himself.

Kangana Ranaut, a member of the Indian parliament (Lok Sabha) and also an eminent actress from Bollywood, has taken to her Instagram account to criticise the same.

She wrote on her Instagram story, "The Paris Olympics is under fire for including a 'child' in their hyper-s*xualized, blasphemous rendition of The Last Supper. An apparent child could be seen joining the drag queens during the performance. They also showed a naked man painted blue as Jesus and mocked Christianity. Leftists totally hijacked Olympics 2024. Shame."

She further spoke about the opening ceremony:

"At Olympics opening everything was about being homosexual, I am not against homosexuality but this is beyond me how Olympics is related to any sexuality?? Why games, sports participation of all nations to claim human exellence being taken over by sex?? Why cant sex stay in our bedrooms ?? Why it has to be a national identity? This is bizzare!!"
