List of performers at Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony ft. Tom Cruise and Snoop Dogg

The Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony will see five-time Grammy winner H.E.R. sing the US National Anthem live at the Stade de France as part of the handover for the Los Angeles Summer Games in 2028.

Notably, the American singer has won an Oscar, Emmy Award, and five Grammy Awards. Additionally, she had nominations for a Golden Globe Award. The 27-year-old won the Grammy award for Song of the Year in 2021, “I Can’t Breathe”.

The closing ceremony is also expected to feature Hollywood star Tom Cruise, according to the reports published on Variety. He is currently filming Mission Impossible 8 in Europe and graced his presence during the opening ceremony.

Moreover, rapper Snoop Dogg will also be a part of the handover segment. However, it is still not clear if he will perform at the ceremony. Variety also reported that American singer and songwriter Billie Eilish and American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform.

Additionally, the Olympic's official website stated that more than 100 performers, dancers, acrobats, and circus artists will be performing at the event to entertain fans with multiple musical performances.


Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony to take place at Stade de France

The Paris Olympics 2024 is scheduled to conclude on Sunday, August 11, with the closing ceremony taking place at 12:30 AM IST on August 12. The organizers have chosen the iconic Stade de France as the venue for the ceremony.

French actor and artistic director Thomas Jolly, who was the mastermind behind the opening ceremony on July 26, will also head the Paris Olympics 2024 closing ceremony. The Stade de France has a seating capacity of 80,000.

“On 11 August 2024, the Olympic Games will be over, and the Olympic flame will be extinguished,” Jolly said as quoted by the website.
“The Olympic Games already disappeared after antiquity and were re-founded in France by Pierre De Coubertin. We want to celebrate, but consciously."

For the Indian contingent, two-time Olympic bronze medallists shooter Manu Bhaker and goalkeeper PR Sreejesh have been appointed as the flag bearers at the ceremony.
