The second day of the National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships 2024 will see some of India’s top track and field athletes in action at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula, Haryana on Friday, June 28.
The four-day event will be the final Paris Olympics 2024 qualifying competition for Indian track and field athletes. According to the International Olympic Committee, the athletics qualifying window for the upcoming quadrennial event will end on June 30.
The ongoing meet in Haryana is the final trial to select the Indian athletics contingent for the Paris Olympics 2024. Day 2 at the National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships 2024 will see 17 medal events take place.
Men’s 20km Race Walk, Men’s Discus Throw, Women’s Pole Vault, Women’s 100m, Men’s 100m, Women’s Shot Put, Women’s 400m, Men’s 400m, Women’s Triple Jump, Women’s 1500m, Men’s 1500m, Women’s Javelin Throw, Women’s 4 X 100m Relay, Men’s 4 X 100m Relay, Women’s 4 X 400m Relay, Men’s 4 X 400m Relay, Men’s Decathlon 1500m will be the 17 medal events on Day 2 of the 63rd National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships.
A lot of athletes will be hopeful of breaching the Olympic Qualification mark in their respective disciplines. The National Inter-State Senior Athletics Championships 2024 will conclude on Sunday, June 30.
