Indian pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty have made history by becoming the first Indian duo to reach the quarterfinals at the Paris Olympics, following the withdrawal of the German pair Mark Lamsfuss and Marvin Seidel due to injury.
They defeated Indonesia’s Fajar Alfian and Muhammad Rian Ardianto by 2-0 in their last group stage game and finished in first place in Group C.
