Paris Olympics 2024 Medal Count Day 11: Updated Gold, Bronze & Silver medal tally for all countries

The United States continues to lead the medal tally at the Paris Olympics 2024, amassing an impressive 24 gold, 31 silver, and 31 bronze medals. China follows closely in second place, having secured 22 gold medals along with 20 silver and 16 bronze, summing up to 58 medals.

Meanwhile, Australia holds the third spot, boasting 14 golds, complemented by 12 silver and nine bronze medals, bringing their total to 35.

Paris Olympics 2024 host nation France has displayed commendable performance as well, standing fourth with 13 golds, 16 silvers, and 19 bronzes, making a total of 48 medals.

Great Britain rounds off the top five with 12 gold medals, 15 silver, and 19 bronze, accumulating 46 medals in total.

The Republic of Korea and Japan both showed strong performances in the Paris Olympics 2024. Korea sits at the sixth position with eleven golds, eight silvers, and seven bronzes, totalling 26 medals. Japan, close behind, has earned eleven golds, six silvers, and twelve bronzes, making up 29 medals in Paris Olympics 2024.

Italy, Netherlands, and Germany also feature in the top ten, each contributing significantly to the medal tally with a combined total of 62 medals.

India finds itself at the 63rd position with just three bronze medals so far. All three of them have come from shooting, with Manu Bhaker leading the charge with two medals.

However, Vinesh Phogat, who became the first Indian female wrestler to reach an Olympic final, has assured India of a silver or a gold medal in the Paris Olympics 2024.


Vinesh Phogat headlines India's day 11 at the Paris Olympics 2024

On Day 11 of the Paris Olympics 2024, India celebrated a historic milestone as Vinesh Phogat advanced to the Women’s Wrestling 50kg Freestyle Final. Phogat started her day with a win over the 'unbeatable' defending champion Yui Susaki.

Vinesh followed in up with a win over European champion Oksana Livach 7-5 in the quarterfinals and Pan-American winner Yuznelys Guzman of Cuba 5-0 in the semifinals making her the first Indian woman to reach an Olympic wrestling final.

This achievement confirmed India’s fourth medal hope in the games, sparking nationwide pride and excitement.

In athletics, Neeraj Chopra delivered a stellar performance in the men’s javelin throw qualifications. With a record throw of 89.34 meters, he not only secured his spot in the final but also finished first in the qualification round. Chopra’s remarkable throw has set high expectations for another potential medal for India.

However, the day was mixed with disappointments. The Indian men’s hockey team faced a tough semi-final match against Germany. Despite a valiant effort, they narrowly lost 2-3, missing the chance to compete for the gold medal. Now, they must regroup and prepare to face Spain in the bronze medal match, hoping to secure a podium finish.

In table tennis, the Indian men’s team faced a formidable opponent in China. Unfortunately, they were defeated 0-3 in the pre-quarterfinals, ending their Olympic journey.

In other athletic events, Kishore Jena finished ninth in his men’s javelin throw qualification, while Kiran Pahal placed sixth in her women’s 400m repechage heat, failing to qualify for the semi-finals.
