Tokyo Olympics gold medalist Neeraj Chopra continued his stellar Olympic journey with a silver medal in the men's javelin throw event following a second-place finish with a throw of 89.45m.
Earlier that day, the Indian men's hockey team beat Spain in a tightly contested 2-1 affair to claim their second consecutive Olympic bronze medal- their 13th one overall.
