USA wrestler Helen Maroulis, the World Wrestling Championships 2023 bronze medallist will lock horns with the Commonwealth Games 2022 silver medallist wrestler from India, Anshu Malik in a Round of 16 contest at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Thursday, August 8.
Maroulis secured medals at both the Rio Olympics 2016 and the Tokyo Olympics 2020. At the Rio Olympics, she defeated Japan’s Saori Yoshida by 4-1 to secure the gold medal and become the first USA female wrestler to bag a gold medal.
