Paris Paralympics 2024 Medal Tally: Updated Gold, Silver & Bronze Medal Tally for all countries after Day 8

China is still ranked first in the Paris Paralympics 2024 medal tally with 166 medals (74 gold, 55 silver, 37 bronze). The country won 31 medals on Thursday, September 5, including 12 gold, nine silver, and 10 bronze.

Great Britain won 10 medals - three gold, four silver, and three bronze. With 84 medals, they are still second with 36 gold. Similarly, the United States of America won 14 medals on Thursday to take its medal tally to 63 (25 gold, 26 silver, and 12 bronze).

The Netherlands retained their fourth spot with 21 gold, 10 silver, and five bronze while France remained fifth with 61 medals (17 gold, 22 silver, and 22 bronze).

Italy jumped from eighth to sixth with 16 gold, 11 silver, and 27 bronze. Ukraine won nine medals on the eighth day but remained seventh with 61 medals (15 gold, 20 silver, and 26 bronze).

Brazil slipped from sixth to eighth position, winning three silver and two bronze on Day 8. Australia secured three gold and one bronze and retained ninth position with 45 medals (14 gold, 12 silver, 19 bronze).

Germany moved from 11th to 10th spot with nine gold as many silver and 15 bronze. Japan, with eight gold medals, as many silver, and 12 bronze, is ranked 11th.

Uzbekistan won two medals and took their tally to 17. Spain holds the 13th spot with 36 medals, including seven gold, 10 silver, and 19 bronze. Canada (20) and Switzerland (16) ranked 14th and 15th, respectively, with six gold each.

Meanwhile, India secured two gold on day seven to take a leap from 19th position to 13th with five gold, nine silver, and 10 silver. Japan (21) and Thailand (17) occupy the following two spots with five golds each.


Who won medals for India on Day 8 at the Paris Paralympics 2024?

India reached a milestone of 25 medals at the Paris Paralympics 2024, with judoka Kapil Parmar securing a bronze in the men’s 60 kg (J1) category on Thursday.

Despite hopes for more medals, the Mixed Team Recurve Open duo of Pooja and Harvinder Singh, along with athlete Simran, narrowly missed out on podium finishes.
