Paris Paralympics 2024 Medal Tally: Updated Gold, Silver & Bronze Medal Tally for all countries after Day 9
China remained first in the Paris Paralympics 2024 medal tally with 188 medals (83 gold, 64 silver, 41 bronze). They secured 22 medals, comprising nine gold, nine silver, and three bronze, on Friday, September 6.
Great Britain claimed 16 medals (six gold, five silver, five bronze) on the ninth day and took their medal tally to 100. They have 42 gold medals in their account.
Similarly, the United States of America bagged nine medals, including four gold, three silver, and two bronze, on Friday. They now have a total of 86 medals in their tally with 31 being bronze.
The Netherlands remained fourth with 24 gold, 14 silver, and 10 bronze. Meanwhile, Italy switched places with France to grab the fifth spot with 63 medals (20 gold, 13 silver, 30 bronze).
France moved from fifth to sixth spot with 17 gold, 24 silver, and as many bronze. Brazil moved from eighth to seventh, having won two gold, three silver, and two bronze on Day 9.
Ukraine won six medals (one gold, three silver, two bronze) on the ninth day and moved to the eighth spot with 67 medals. Australia won seven medals, including two gold, one silver, and four bronze, and reclaimed the ninth position with 52 medals (16 gold, 13 silver, 23 bronze).
Japan moved from 11th to 10th spot with 12 gold, 10 silver, and 15 bronze. Germany, with 39 medals (nine gold, 11 silver, 19 bronze), descended to the 11th position.
Uzbekistan won six medals on Friday and took their tally to 23 (nine gold, eight silver, six bronze). Canada moved from 14th to 13th with 23 medals, including eight gold, as many bronze, and seven silver.
Spain moved to 14th spot with 38 medals, including seven gold, 10 silver, and 21 bronze. Meanwhile, Poland secured the 15th spot with seven gold, five silver, and nine bronze.
Meanwhile, India won three medals on Day 9 and dropped to 17th with six gold, nine silver, and 12 silver.

Hokato Sema, an Indian landmine blast survivor, won a bronze medal in the men's F57 shot put final at the Paris Paralympics on Friday with a personal best throw of 14.65 meters.
Meanwhile, Praveen Kumar, a 21-year-old from Noida who was born with a shorter leg, set a new Asian record to claim the gold medal in the men's high jump T64 event. The Tokyo Paralympics silver medallist achieved a season-best leap of 2.08 meters, finishing first among the six competitors.
