Paris Paralympics 2024 Para Athletics: Simran finished second in women’s 100m T12  semifinals

In a thrilling display of speed and determination, Simran powered her way to the final of the women’s 100m T12 at the Paris Paralympics 2024. Competing in the semi-finals on September 5, she clinched second place with an impressive time of 12.33 seconds. The remarkable performance secured her spot in the final by qualifying based on her time.

Simran ran in lane 6, keeping her pace steady while competing against a strong field. She was just behind Germany’s Katrin Mueller-Rottgardt, who led the race with a season-best time of 12.26 seconds.

Despite the tight competition in the Paris Paralympics 2024 women’s 100m T12, Simran’s unwavering focus and connection with her guide allowed her to hold her position and finish comfortably ahead of Venezuela’s Alejandra Paola Perez Lopez, who crossed the line in 12.52 seconds. Simran will now compete in the final on September 5 only at 10:47 PM IST.

The women’s 100m T12 semifinal had some intense competition, as Simran faced athletes from across the globe, each determined to claim a spot in the final.
