The Indian men's badminton contingent at the Paris Paralympics 2024, came up with mixed performances on August 31. A total of six Indian para-shuttlers competed in the men's singles group play event. While three of the players clinched wins, the other three had to suffice with a defeat.

Tarun, Sivarajan and Krishna come up with an below average badminton show at Paris Paralympics 2024
Krishna Nagar, Tarun Dhillon and Sivarajan Solaimalai, failed to go past the group stages of the men's singles badminton category at the Paris Paralympics 2024.
Krishna, failed to defend his title from Tokyo 2020, having retired mid-game during his final group stage match. Nagar was trailing 20-22, 3-11, against Natthapong Meechai of Thailand, when he pulled out of the match.
As a result, Krishna's dream to win a consecutive medal at the Paralympics, came crashing down. He had lost his previous group stage match as well.
Tarun, could also not do much to impress, in his match against France's Lucas Mazur. He lost the match in two straight sets of 7-21, 16-21.
The story for Sivarajan, was pretty much the same. Going against Great Britain's, Krysten Coombs, Solaimalai, lost his third group stage match on the trot. The Indian badminton player, was totally outplayed, as he went down, 12-21, 10-21 at Paris Paralympics 2024.
