Norwegian boxer Sunniva Hofstad will lock horns with the Indian ace boxer Lovlina Borgohain, who grabbed the bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and will compete in the women's 75 kg weight division.
Sunniva qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024 after defeating three boxers consecutively in the World Olympic Boxing Qualifier in March 2024. She is the junior world champion from 2022, the European junior champion from 2021 and 2022, and bagged a gold medal in the Tammer Tournament 2023.
With multiple gold and silver medals in the past two years, Sunniva is one of the medal contenders at the Paris Olympics. On the other hand, Lovlina Borgohain would be aiming to turn the tables and hoping to change her medal color this time around.
