After competing at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Vishnu Saravanan is set to become only the second Indian sailor to represent India in multiple Summer Games after Farokh Tarapore, who was part of the Los Angeles 1984, Seoul 1988, and the Barcelona 1992 Games.

Vishnu secured his Paris Olympics 2024 quota at the ILCA 7 Men’s World Championship 2024 in Adelaide, Australia, after finishing 26th in a field of 152.

Alongside Vishnu, another Indian sailor Nethra Kumanan is also set to compete at the Paris Olympics 2024. She claimed the quota at the Last Chance Regatta under the Emerging Nations Programme in April 2024.
