The 36-year-old shared a video on his Instagram, where he could be seen opening up a box that contained his bronze medal. The star player, who has been a long-serving servant of Indian hockey, had an immense impact on his team's performance in Paris.

The Indian hockey team played excellent hockey to beat Spain 2-1 in their bronze medal match on August 8. PR Sreejesh, who has now retired from the sport, was at the forefront of India's campaign in Paris. Sreejesh was among one of India's most valuable players in the tournament, given his impact safeguarding the goal.

PR Sreejesh arrived back home to India, today (August 13), after fulfilling his duties at the closing ceremony in Paris, landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
