When will Manu Bhaker play her next event at Paris Olympics 2024?

Shooter Manu Bhaker is riding high on confidence after opening India's medal tally at the Paris 2024 Olympics. The 22-year-old won the bronze medal in the Women's 10m Air Pistol final at the Chateauroux Shooting Center. By doing so, Manu Bhaker became the first Indian woman to win an Olympic medal in shooting.

However, the rising star is not done yet. There is more to achieve for Manu at the Summer Games. The shooting sensation from Haryana is also a part of India's mixed 10m air pistol team. She will be next seen competing in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Qualification event from July 29 to 30.

Manu Bhaker will be teaming up with Sarabjot Singh for the mixed team event. She will also be competing in the 25m Pistol Women's Qualification Precision on August 2. If she qualifies, the shooter will then participate in the 25m Women's Pistol Final on August 3.


Manu Bhaker wins a historic bronze medal at Paris 2024 Olympics

Three years back, Manu Bhaker had to deal with a heartbreak at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics owing to her pistol malfuctioning. However, by putting in a sensational performance in Paris, she has surely left the demons of Tokyo behind.

Though she is still very young into a promising career, she packs the maturity of a seasoned veteran. The athlete looked totally at home during the Women's 10m Air Pistol final on July 28 and performed the task at hand with extreme confidence.

The fact that she was ever-so-close to a silver medal finish proves how well she was going. Bhaker was just 0.1 behind Kim Yeji when she got eliminated in the finals.

Manu recorded a total score of 221.7 to finish at the third place. Kim Yeji of South Korea bagged the silver medal with a score of 241.3. The coveted gold was snatched by another South Korean, Oh Ye Jin who scored 243.2, setting a new Olympic Record.
