Who is N Sriram Balaji? All you need to know about Rohan Bopanna's doubles partner at Paris Olympics 2024

N Sriram Balaji is one of the Indian tennis players in the Paris Olympics 2024 along with Rohan Bopanna and Sumit Nagal. Balaji will partner Bopanna in doubles to end India’s 28-year-long wait to win a medal in tennis at the showpiece event.

Balaji was also one of the options along with Yuki Bhambri that Bopanna had to choose from. In the end, Bopanna zeroed in on Balaji, saying that he is agile and can pose challenges to the opponents on clay.

The pair of Bopanna and Balaji will start their campaign by facing the pair of Fabien Reboul and Edouard Roger-Vasselin from France in the opening round.

Bopanna and Balaji recently took part in the German Open. However, they failed to go beyond the opening round after losing 1-6, 4-6 to the German duo of Jakob Schnaitter and Mark Wallner.

Balaji also partnered Bopanna when he made his debut in the Davis Cup back in 2017. During that tournament, he helped India win 3-0, paving their way into the World Group playoff.
