Nikhat Zareen is an Indian boxer who has left a mark on the world stage by achieving significant success throughout her career. Her journey from Visakhapatnam’s Sports Authority of India program to global fame is inspiring.
The Indian boxing sensation was introduced to boxing by her father. He initially trained her for almost a year. She then joined the Sports Authority of India, where she trained under Dronacharya awardee IV Rao.
Nikhat gained attention when she contested the decision of the Boxing Federation of India to send Mary Kom to the Asian Qualifiers for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics without a trial. Her request for a trial fight was eventually approved, but she ended up losing the bout.
