Paris 2024 Olympics Day 4: Medal events for India on 30 July

Day 3 of the Paris 2024 Olympics was a deeply disappointing one for Indian fans, as Indian shooters were unable to win a medal before the Archery Men's Team succumbed to a defeat in the quarter-finals to Turkey.

Arjun Babuta was close to a bronze medal but finished fourth instead and barring Manu Bhaker - Sarabjot Singh's qualification for the Bronze Medal match in the 10 M Air Pistol Mixed Team Event was the only major positive on Day 3.

Indian fans will hope for better tidings on Day 4. On that note, let's look at the Medal Events for India on Tuesday, 30 July.

#1 10 M Air Pistol Mixed Team Bronze Medal Match

Bronze Medal Match - 12:30 PM IST

Team India - Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh

After a stellar outing in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Qualifying Round on Monday, Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh will take on South Korea's Oh Ye Jin and Lee Wonho in the Bronze Medal Match on Tuesday afternoon Indian time.

Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh finished third in the qualifying round, finishing one point behind Serbia in second place, missing out on a spot in the Gold Medal match.

However, they have a golden opportunity to win India's second medal in the Paris 2024 Olympics and the second medal in shooting, but it won't be easy against a higher-ranked South Korean opposition.

However, the fact that they outscored them in qualifying, and Manu Bhaker's bronze medal in the Women's Individual event will give both shooters and Indian fans hope heading into the contest.

#2 Trap Shooting Men's Event

Qualification - Day 2 (12:30 PM IST), Final (7 PM IST).

Prithviraj Thondaiman faces an uphill task ahead of him to qualify for the Final for the Trap Shooting Men's Event.

At the end of Qualification on Day 1, he ranked 30th among 30 shooters, and with only the top six qualifying for the Finals, it will take the biggest of miracles for him to get in contention for one of those spots.

The 54th-ranked shooter in the ISSF Rankings did well to qualify for the Olympics, but while it's still possible in theory, it's very unlikely he will make the Final.
