The Indian men's hockey team will take on Ireland in their third pool match at the Paris 2024 Olympics on Tuesday (July 30). The Indians, who began their campaign with a 3-2 win against New Zealand, had to be content with a 1-1 draw in their second match against Argentina on Monday. They are currently in third place behind Belgium and Australia in their pool.
The Irish, meanwhile, lost both their opening matches but gave the Australians a run for their money in a narrow 1-2 defeat on Monday. Mark Tumilty's side had earlier gone down to Belgium by a 0-2 margin in the opener of the men's hockey competition in Paris.
