Paris 2024 Olympics India Day 8 Schedule: Full list of events, venues, & timings in IST August 3
Indian athletes had a terrific day at the Paris Olympics 2024 on August 2. Star shooter Manu Bhaker continued her incredible form by finishing second in the 25m pistol qualification round to make it to her third final at the Games. Lakshya Sen also put in an outstanding performance to make it to the men’s singles badminton semi-finals.
Adding to the joys, India’s men’s hockey team caused a huge upset by beating Australia, whom they haven’t defeated at the Olympics since 1972.
Moving on to August 3 (Day 8) on a high, let us take a look at the events in store for Indian fans. Manu Bhaker will be in action in the 25m pistol final, fighting for her third medal at the Games. Archers Deepika Kumari and Bhajan Kaur will also compete in their 1/8 elimination round.
India’s golfers and sailors will continue to compete in their respective events, while boxer Nishant Dev will battle it out in his quarter-final encounter towards the end of the day.

The medal events for archery and the skeet shooting men’s event will take place later in the day. It will be exciting to see if India's former World No. 1 archer Deepika Kumari or debutant 18-year-old Bhajan Kaur can return with India's first medal in archery at the Olympics.
