Paris Olympics 2024 Badminton Points Table: Men’s Singles updated standings after July 28
World Championships bronze medallist HS Prannoy and ace Lakshya Sen are competing in the badminton men's singles at the Paris Olympics 2024. While Prannoy is 13th seeded, Lakshya is unseeded. That said, let’s take a look at the men’s singles updated points table after Sunday, July 28.
Group A
China's Shi Yu Qi is leading the standings in Group A with a win over Opti Soren of Suriname with a points difference of 30. Italy's Toti Giovanni has yet to play a match and is in the third spot in Group A standings.
Group C
Thailand's Vitidsarn Kunlavut is standing on top of the points table with a points difference of 21. On the other hand, Paul Georges Julien from Mauritius holds the second rank. Finland's Koljonen Kalle is ranked third without playing a match in Group C.
Group D
Japan's Nishimoto Kenta is right on top of the table with a points difference of 26. He defeated Kazakhstan's Panarin Dmitriy in the first match. Canada's Yang Brian has yet to play a match and is carrying the third position in Group D.
Group E
Antonsen Anders of Denmark is at the top spot, defeating Filimon Collins Valentine in the first match. He is on top with a points difference of 14. Azerbaijan's Dwicahyo Ade Resky is at the third rank without playing a match in Group E.
Group G
Malaysia's Lee Zil Jia secured a win over Sri Lanka's Nettasinghe Viren in the first match of Group G, bagging a points difference of 16. Spain's Abian Pablo is ranked third without playing a match.
Group H
Indonesia's Ginting Anthony Sinisuka is leading Group H standings with a points difference of 20. USA's Shu Howard is ranked second after losing to Sinisuka. France's Popov Toma Junior is ranked third without playing a match.

Group J standings are led by Japan's Naraoka Kodai with a points difference of seven. He secured a win over Coelho Ygor from Brazil in his first match of the campaign. South Korea's Jeon Hyeok Jin is yet to play a match and is at the third rank.
Group K
Shifting our focus to Group K standings, HS Prannoy secured a convincing win over Fabian Roth from Germany (21-18, 21-12) in his first encounter of the Paris Olympics 2024.
Le Duc Phat has yet to open his account in the points table while Fabian Roth is holding the wooden spoon without bagging a point in the table. Prannoy is scheduled to take on Duc Phat on July 31.
Group L
Group L witnessed a few interesting turn of events. Though Lakshya Sen defeated Kevin Cordon in his first match of the campaign, the latter pulled out of the competition. For the same reason, Sen's points have been nullified and he has to play two more group-stage games and start fresh.
Jonathan Cristie from Indonesia is leading the standings in Group L while Julien Carraggi from Belgium is at the third spot without bagging a point. Lakshya Sen is ranked second without any points.
Sen will face Carraggi on Monday, July 29, while his last group-stage match is against Indonesia's Jonathan Cristie on Wednesday, July 31.
