Paris Olympics 2024 Badminton Points Table: Women’s Doubles updated standings after Day 4
Two teams from China and South Korea have qualified for the quarter-finals. The remaining four teams are from Bulgaria, Malaysia, Japan, and Denmark.
Group A
In Group A, Chen Qingchen and Jia Yifan from China topped the table with 3 matches played, winning all and achieving a point difference of +6. Following them, Pearly Tan and Thinaah Muralitharan from Malaysia secured the second position with 3 matches, winning 2 and losing 1, resulting in a point difference of +1.
Mayu Matsumoto and Wakana Nagahara from Japan came in third, having played 3 matches with 1 win and 2 losses, leading to a point difference of -1. Lastly, Apriyani Rahayu and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti from Indonesia finished fourth, losing all 3 matches and ending with a point difference of -6.
Group B
In Group B, Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning from China dominated the group, winning all 3 of their matches and achieving a point difference of +5. Gabriela Stoeva and Stefani Stoeva from Bulgaria followed in second place with 3 matches played, winning 2 and losing 1, which resulted in a point difference of +2.
Yeung Nga Ting and Yeung Pui Lam from Hong Kong ranked third, having won 1 out of 3 matches, leading to a point difference of -2. Finally, Annie Xu and Kerry Xu from the USA ended the group in fourth place, losing all their matches and finishing with a point difference of -5.
Group C
In Group C, Kim So-yeong and Kong Hee-yong from South Korea led the group with a perfect record of 3 wins from 3 matches, resulting in a point difference of +6. Nami Matsuyama and Chiharu Shida from Japan secured the second spot with 3 matches played, winning 2 and losing 1, which gave them a point difference of +2.
Setyana Mapasa and Angela Yu from Australia came in third, winning 1 out of 3 matches, resulting in a point difference of -2. Lastly, Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa from India finished fourth, losing all their matches and ending with a point difference of -6.
Group D

Baek Ha-na and Lee So-hee from South Korea followed in second place, having played 3 matches, winning 2 and losing 1, resulting in a point difference of +3. Finally, Margot Lambert and Anne Tran from France finished in fourth place, losing all their matches and ending with a point difference of -5.
Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa make an early exit from the tournament
Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa lost all three matches in Group C. The duo couldn’t make it to the next stage of the tournament. The Indian pair faced the Japanese duo of Nami Matsuyama and Chiharu Shida in their last game and lost the match with scores of 11-21 and 12-21.
