3 Slam champions and 2 Slam runner-ups reach Wimbledon 3R in wide open women's singles bottom half ft. Coco Gauff, Emma Raducanu, Bianca Andreescu

The bottom half of the women's draw at Wimbledon is filled with some exciting names. Some of the top players and former Grand Slam winners are drawn together in the same half of the draw leaving the fans excited.

Coco Gauff, Emma Raducanu, Bianca Andreescu, Jasmine Paolini, and Madison Keys are five Grand Slam finalists who could face each other on their way to the Wimbledon final. Other WTA stars like Maria Sakkari, Dayana Yastremska, and Emma Navvaro complete an exciting third-round draw at Wimbledon.

Bottom half of the Wimbledon draw 'wide open'

The World No. 2 Coco Gauff will be the favorite to make it into the final of Wimbledon from the bottom half of the draw. The American has been in fine form since the end of last year, reaching the semifinals of the last three Majors. However, her form at Wimbledon has been a worry.

Gauff has struggled to adjust to the requirements of grass courts and was knocked out in the first round last year. However, with a US Open title in 2023 under her belt, the 21-year-old will be confident of a long run at the SW19 this year. Gauff's main challenge could be British star Emma Raducanu.

Raducanu has been in inspired form over the last two weeks. The former US Open champion is carrying the hopes of the country on her shoulders this year after Andy Murray's withdrawal. The 21-year-old has been suffering from injuries and has undergone surgeries throughout the last year. Now, back to her best, Raducanu will be the player to watch out for throughout the tournament.

Along with Coco Gauff and Emma Raducanu, another US Open champion could be potentially set for a deep run in the competition. Bianca Andreescu stunned the tennis world by winning the 2019 US Open as a teenager. The Canadian reached her career-best ranking of World No. 4 but has since failed to live up to her high standards.

Alongside these Grand Slam champions, there are two Grand Slam finalists in the same draw. Madison Keys and Jasmine Paolini are in the same draw as Gauff, Raducanu, and Andreescu making it more interesting. Keys reached the final of the US Open in 2017 while Paolini reached the French Open final this year.

Both Keys and Paolini face a tough opponent in the third round at Wimbledon. Keys will face Marta Kostyuk and Jasmine Paolini will take on the former US Open champion, Blanca Andreescu.

Emma Raducanu will face the American Maria Sakkari, who has been in fine form. Sakkari is yet to drop a set throughout the tournament but will be up against an inspired Raducanu in the third round. The Brit star is backed by a buoyant home crowd and could be destined for a deep run in the competition.

Meanwhile, Coco Gauff will be the favorite to make her way into another Grand Slam final as she has been handed a favorable draw. The American star has eased into the third round without breaking a sweat and is set to face British qualifier Sonay Kartal next. Kartal will start the game full of confidence having beaten the French Open semifinalist, Mirra Andreeva on her way to the third round at Wimbledon.
