5 records held by Roger Federer that may never be broken

Day Three - Nitto ATP World Tour Finals
Federer became the oldest World No 1 in history

Roger Federer eased into the pages of tennis history yet again and is still adding several to it.

After winning his 20th Grand Slam in Australia with the usual elegance and finesse expected of him, the Swiss Maestro decided to play in the 45th ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament that is taking place in Rotterdam currently.

Rotterdam wasn't on the tour chart for Federer but, in a sudden change of decisions, the 36-year-old, fresh off his surreal 6th and Australian Open victory, looked to race in and topple the injured World No. 1 Rafael Nadal off his pedestal, by simply making it to the semi-finals of the ATP event.

And as per plan, he went on to make it to the semi-finals, beating Dutch player Robin Hasse in the quarter-finals, and reclaimed his World No.1 ranking to become the oldest tennis player of the professional era to be the top-ranked player.

Besides being the man who has the best win-loss record in Grand Slams to being the man who has the most number of appearances in Majors to a 65+ match wins at all four Slams to 332 Grand Slam match wins overall, Federer is a man for whom the record books were recreated.

Keeping our patience for just a week longer, let us take a quick look at five of the grandest records which the King Of Grass has to his name which will require quite some time to break and re-establish!
